Royal Agio Announces Small Batch Balmoral Añejo XO Oscuro Lancero FT Edición Limitada

I thought the big news of September was Royal Agio and Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG) in talks of a buy out. Oooh, no. Instead, a week later, yesterday, Royal Agio announced  it’s adding a  limited edition lancero vitola to it’s uber popular Balmoral Añejo XO Oscuro line. The Añejo XO Oscuro Lancero FT Edición Limitada, the ‘FT’ referring to “Flag Tail”, is the second limited lancero to be launched by Balmoral. Their first crack at it came in the original Añejo XO line and fans loved it.

We were quite impressed with the Oscuro Rothschilde Masivo and in fact have added it to our review bullpen. Royal Agio’s take on the profile is similar to what we noted stating, “[The lancero] will embrace your palate with complex notes of dark chocolate, espresso and black pepper that finish with a smooth, underlying natural sweetness.”
